Hyperfocal allows you to quickly and easily shoot focus stacks on nearly any camera all from your workstation, no messing with camera menus. Creating a stack is intuitive and flexible, with options for where to start the stack, how large the increments should be, and where to return once finished. Hyperfocal automatically calculates the number of frames and can shoot the stack with a customizable delay between frames.
Creating stacks in Hyperfocal can be done in a few steps, all you need to do is pick your near and far focus points, and then click the camera icon in the toolbar and select 'Capture Stack'. Hyperfocal will then focus the camera and begin shooting.
The arrow buttons at the top of the window move the focus in small, medium, or large steps. The arrow buttons with lines will move the camera's focus to the near point, far point, or the the middle of the stack.
In order for Hyperfocal to control the camera Live View must be running in Capture One. It's also important to note that all focus adjustments must be done from within Hyperfocal, and not Capture One or on the camera.
